Savory Yogurt Sauce
Chaat raita is a yogurt-based condiment that is commonly used in Indian cuisine as a refreshing side dish or dip. It’s often seasoned with a blend of spices like chaat and fresh herbs such as mint and cilantro to add flavor and complement spicy dishes. Chaat raita can be made in a variety of ways! We love to add diced vegetables such as onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes, which add texture and freshness to the dish. Raita is perfect for when you’re eating something that may be too spicy for you as the yogurt cools your palate down. We love chaat raita as a dip with chips and crudité, on its own, or paired with a spicy dish.
