Steak Taco Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 lb steak (such as flank steak or skirt steak)
- 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2-3 tbsp Droosh Icon Spice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small tortillas (corn or flour)
- Toppings of your choice (suggestions: diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, diced onions, avocado slices, shredded cheese, salsa, sour cream, cilantro)
DIRECTIONS:
- Season Steak
- Begin by seasoning the steak with salt and pepper on both sides. Sprinkle the Droosh Icon spice blend evenly over the steak and rub it in gently. Let the steak sit for about 15-20 minutes at room temperature to absorb the flavors.
- Cook
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once the skillet is hot, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Place the seasoned steak in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness is reached. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the steak and your preferred level of doneness.
- Once the steak is cooked to your liking, remove it from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for a few minutes. Then, slice the steak thinly against the grain.
- Assemble Tacos
- While the steak is resting, warm the tortillas in the skillet for about 30 seconds on each side, or until they are heated through and slightly toasted.
- Assemble your tacos by placing slices of the cooked steak on each tortilla and adding your favorite toppings.
- Add a squeeze of lime, serve immediately and enjoy!
